Water Treatment Plants
Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy Foundation is here to help you with safe drinking water plants. Most of the water used for drinking purposes whether supplied by wells, ponds and borewells and public water supply, is highly contaminated and contains impurities such as solids, salts, minerals etc.. Reverse Osmosis process technique is widely used in purification of water by removing the dissolved impurities, non essential and corrosive salts.chemicals etc. In RO technology water Pressure is used to force molecules through a very fine membrane leaving the contaminants behind. Purified water is collected from the Clean side of the membrane and water containing the concentrated contaminants are flushed down the drain from the contaminated side.

Dr. YSR Foundation is concentrating on Water Tretment plants and Health Camps in Andhra Pradesh. - Donor: Donor or group of donors should come forward with 50% cost of the water plant
- Dr. Prem Reddy: Dr. Prem Reddy garu will match 50% cost of the plant.
- Construction: Once we receive donations, we can engage the contractor and start the construction.
Following things are not included in the price quote and villgers participation is really needed:
- Land: Villagers should come forward and provide the land.
- Water Source: Continuous water source is minimum requirement and it could be well or Borewell or Public water.
- Electric Connection: Electric connection would have to be provided.
Following things are included and constructed by the Contractor:
- Shed: Small shed will be constructed with your donation to house the treatment plant
- Equipment: RO Plant equipment will be installed, tested and maintained for 3 years.
- Water Tank: Water tank will be placed to hold treated wanter
- Training: Water tank has to be operated by local person and Contractor will give the training.
- Maintenance: Contractor will provide service for three years at free of cost.
Project Cost (Approx):
Cost really depends on several factors but main one is serving popluation followed by chemical levels of water. All these are approximate costs. Once you decide the place and give details about the project, our contractor will do the site analysis and give you the project cost before the project is started. - Population of 1,000: $6,000 ($3,000 Donor + $3,000 Dr. Prem Reddy)
- Population of 3,000: $9,000 ($4,500 Donor + $4,500 Dr. Prem Reddy)
- Population of 5,000: $12,000 ($6,000 Donor + $6,000 Dr. Prem Reddy)

Health Camps
Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy Foundation is here to help you with organizing Health Camps in your Village/Mandal/District/State. Our beloved leader Dr. YSR has started Arogyasree and it benefited a lot of patients. With that spirit, Health Camps are great way to help the needy. Regular health checkup saves a lot of lifes in developed countries and in developing countries people does not go to doctor unless there is a problem. Villagers could untilize this health camp and get screened. Early detection could extend the life.

- Planning: Once we receive donations, we can involve the Doctors/Hospitals and plan the Health Camp.
Need your help with following things:
If Donor picks a place for the Health Camp, Dr. YSR Foundation needs your help with identifying the place, permission and doctor's list.
- Place: Place would have to be identified. Usually schools with more than 5 class rooms are the best.
- Permission: Need to get the permission to use their premises for Health Camp.
- Doctors: If you know doctors from neighboring towns, that would be a great help.
Following things are generally included in Health Camps:
- Eye Checkup: Most of the older patients lose vision after certain age and simple cataract surgery could bring back their vision. This is a great help for poor patients. Only screening is done at the Health Camp and surgeries would be performed at the doctor's facilities.
- 30 Day supply of Medicines: As a donor you could give 30 day supply of medication for Diabetic/BP/Pains/Vitamins.
- Dental: Dental check up can be done.
- Other Departments:Could involve doctors from different departments (Diabetic, General, Orthopedic, Cordiology, Pediatric) depending on availability.
- Blood Test: Patients can be screened for Glucose levels and others.
