Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy Foundation provides services across three key program areas – Education, Health, Safe water.
Education
Education is the fourth necessity for man after food, clothing and shelter, in today’s competitive world.Education is indeed a powerful tool to combat the cut-throat competition that person is faced with at every junctures in life. The importance of education is indeed rising with passing time. Though a lot of development has been done for many years, it still needs to improve not just on the quality of education but also on the number of people being educated.
We provide and fund a range of Education services that aim to address these issues by:
- Providing scholarships to bright students and encourage them to go for higher studies
- Providing help to poor students who cannot afford higher education like Medicine or Engineering.
Orphans
Even with living conditions are getting better year over year, we still have orphans living in unhealthy conditions. Donors can sponsor an orphan through Dr. YSR Foundation:
- Provide financial help to Orphans in orphanages
- With $1 a day, you could sponsor one orphan and give better life
Sponsor Senior Citizen
With globalization and better opportunities around the world, kids are leaving their parents in villages and home towns. Senior Citizens are being neglected by their own kids because of various reasons. Donors can sponsor a Senior Citizen through Dr. YSR Foundation:
- Provide financial help to Senor Citizens in Old Age Homes
- With $1 a day, you could sponsor a Senior Citizen and give better life
Health
Health is also major issue and a lot of diseases can be prevented and early detection is the key. We provide and fund a range of Health services that aim to address these issues by:
- Providing help for Medical camps to screen the patients
- Providing help to patients who are suffering from deceases and cannot afford the medical help.
Safe Drinking water
We provide and fund a range of safe drinking water plants that aim to address these issues by:
- Providing help for Safe Drinking Water plants
Providing test kits to test chemical levels of the water in different areas and identify the need
Food Drive
Food is the basic necessity for everyone and even there are people who cannot food in developed countries also.
- Organize a Food Drive and collect the food and donate to local Food Banks who provide food for homeless.
Natural Disasters
In case of natural disasters like floods, earth quake, hurricanes where people lose entire savings and helpless.
- Organizing a Drive and collect the food/blankets/clothes/money and donate to International charitable organizations like American Red Cross/Rotary Club/Lions Club.
- Providing immediate and long term assistance to families and communities affected by natural and other disasters.
